So what’s the role?

Two words: Senior, Accountant.

You’ll be working with a portfolio of lovely clients and your role will include showing them the wonders of cloud accounting, prepping year end accounts, bookkeeping, VAT prep and management accounts.

Stuff you’ll be responsible for:

• Prepping VAT returns
• Year-end financial accounts prep, including (but not limited to) limited companies, partnerships and sole trader
• Advise and support clients with cloud accounting software
• Help convert client from manual bookkeeping systems to integrated cloud accounting systems
• Provide daily bookkeeping using Xero & Dext
• Organise invoices, expenses, and expense forms into Dext
• Working with other staff members to meet client deadlines

Hopefully you’ll know the cloud better than a northern weather reporter and ideally have some experience using either Xero or Dext.

This role gives the candidate the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing team to grow their skills and get hands on experience changing lives.

You’ll have loads of opportunity to grow with the role, and with 3-month appraisals and salary reviews, there’s tonnes of space to progress.

You won’t be out on a limb, as you’ll be reporting to your manager who’ll review your work and support you along the way.

Essential:

• The ability to speak to humans
• Not a dinosaur

Desired:

• Some accounting experience

Desired but not essential:

• AAT/ ACCA part qualified 
• Beat boxing
• Windsurfing
• Origami

Nitty Gritty:

Based in our Brighton office, you’ll be able to work 3 days in the office, 2 days at home (because you’re an adult who can make their own decisions).

Role: Full time

Salary: £25 –£29K pa pro-rated, depending on experience.
