Chris joined Accounts and Legal as Managing Director in November 2015. Chris’s primary role is ensuring the firm runs smoothly on a daily basis, supporting the growth of its entrepreneurial clients and delivering the firm’s own ambitious growth objectives.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in general practice with a Top 20 firm in 2010, Chris quickly chose to specialise in corporate finance. During his 5 years Chris worked on over 70 transactions involving SME’s, from company valuations and restructures to substantial equity and debt fundraisings. He also advised on the sale and purchases of businesses, both to trade buyers and financial investors, providing advisory and due diligence services.
After sitting across the desk from numerous successful entrepreneurs Chris decided he wanted to take on a new challenge running a business for himself. Having been involved in a consultative capacity during the formative years of Accounts and Legal, Chris decided the time was right to move into an MD position. Whilst the majority of his time is spent managing the day to day operations of the firm, Chris still gets involved in projects where his experience is valuable to clients.
Most recently Chris has advised :-
Outside of work anything with an engine is likely to grab Chris’s attention. As the proud owner of a heavily modified V8 MGB Chris is often to be found late at night in his garage tinkering away, much to his wife and 3 young son’s dismay.
