Young and Enterprising

What an exciting couple of weeks we’ve had at Accounts and Legal! Not only have we been working closely with our charity partners Young Enterprise but we’re preparing for our 1^st birthday too!

Fans of A and L and loyal readers of our blog will already know about the charity project we embarked on at the beginning of this year but for those of you who are new to us we have pledged to raise a whopping £2000 for the wonderful Young Enterprise; a charity who work with school pupils to give them experience in setting up and running real businesses.

On Friday the 28^th March our very own Jen was invited along to speak at the London Final of the Deutsche Bank Young Entrepreneurs Competition. As a former entrepreneur Jen was able to talk to the students about her own experience and about how Accounts and Legal apply their passion for entrepreneurship to help businesses grow.

Then on Wednesday the 2^nd April Jen was again invited along but this time to MC the Central North London Company Awards! As expected it was another fantastic event which really showcased the business talents of the next generation and highlighted the importance of the work Young Enterprise do. The event was attended by guest speaker Deputy Mayor of London Lady Victoria Borwick who was fascinated by our Behind Every Great Woman article after an interlude chinwag with Jen; a great time was had by all.

So… it’s almost our 1^st birthday! Yes, it’s almost one year since the Accounts and Legal brand came to life and it’s been quite an incredible year! Look out for a special birthday blog coming next week! We’re growing every day.
